MYSTERY SHOPPING/SECRET SHOPPING IN NEVADA

Mystery shopping in the state of Nevada is a little bit different than mystery shopping in any other state. Most other states you can just travel to and work but not Nevada,  Before you Mystery shop in Nevada make sure you are familiar with rules, because if you get caught Mystery shopping without following the state laws you could be fined.

1.)           So what you need to know about Nevada state rules are that you must have your private investigator license or you must be an employee of a company that has a private investigator license. I will attach the companies below that I have heard of that are licensed in Nevada.

2.)            You must go down and get a work permit, best place to start is a Sheriff’s station last I heard it was about 100.00. They are good for five years.  There is an application you fill out, a background check and fingerprinting that is done.

 

 

3.)            You have to be registered with the state of Nevada as an employee of a Private Investigators licensing firm. The Private Investigators firm normally will pay to register you. However because you are an employee, some companies will want you to work for only them while others will be okay with you working for the other companies as well, just make sure you talk to them and see what their expectations are of you.

Most the time in any other state that I have heard as a mystery shopper you are an independent contractor, however in Nevada most the time you are an employee of the company.  So instead of getting a 1099 at the end of the year for taxes you will be getting a W2.

 

Being a Mystery shopper can be very rewarding, you get to go to great places and normally eat for free, and enjoy doing many things for free, plus get a paid a fee for doing this as well.

The way this is done is you get assigned the job, you read what you are supposed to do, you get a spending limit, So say you were going to mystery shop a restaurant, the spending limit is 50.00 for two people, and the shop fee is 30.00

So you would spend fifty dollars or less and when you were doing your shop you would upload the receipt like you would upload any pictures online, and then you would complete all the paper work and you would get reimbursed for the amount the dinner cost you, plus your pay for going out to eat.

You have to be detail orientated to be a Mystery shopper and be able to communicate well through writing if you got this then you should do fine as a Mystery shopper

Getting Paid

Most companies pay through pay pal, check, or direct deposit in your bank account. They pay either weekly, bi-weekly,  twice a month, once a month these are the norms, I have heard some people say a couple companies pay every 90 days or something just ask the company that you are working for.

Scams

I just wanted to write and tell you guys that like with anything there are scams out there. So please beware, do not ever do any wire transfer, western union, or money order, Mystery shop, they will not ask send you a huge money order and ask you to send partial of it back western union,

Also another golden rule is not to pay a company to mystery shop, other than your work permit and the money that you spend that has been approved to be reimbursed that is all. Good Luck to You!

I am doing this on the side as. You literally have to find run down houses, that have been abandoned or vacant and take photos of them but it is 25.00 per house paid in your paypal account.
It is a way to make a few extra bucks.

The woman that own this company are great as well, and they have rent to own properties and can get you a home loan with the credit score as low as 520! I think it is amazing.

Another thing that I have found in Las Vegas is that competition is tough, and people still like getting referrals by word of mouth. What better way to get paid by just talking to someone.

The Ladies at triton property solutions has a referral program if you refer someone and they buy a house you get paid by that


Get paid by local companies for referrals, here are a few companies that pay through paypal or check or cash it just depends, I will add more companies as I find them, thank you!

LOW BOOK SALES gives you a fifty dollar per person referral for sending someone over to their car lot to buy a car, someone purchases a car then you get a check for 50.00

Top Choice Roofing does a referral program if you know someone that needs a roof send them here with you name phone number and address for the referral and you will receive a 100.00 check from them.

Dollar Loan Center is the same way, they have a 20.00 referral program you get 20.00 everytime you refer someone to them.

Title Max is another company that does the referral program, theres is 50.00 per person for people that have exhisting loans that they buy out,  and for people that need a loan, I am friends with the GM at the store on Maryland parkway right behind UNLV, she is very nice and they have great deals for loans

Mystery Shopping

I have a dear friend of mine that has been making money successfully mystery shopping, of course here in Las Vegas NV it is the only state in the world that you have to have a private investigaters licence to mystery shop with, so you can't just freelance it in Nevada, but everywhere else it is free game

The number one rule I was informed by my friend about was that you never pay to become a mystery shopper! There are a lot of scammers out there but the list below is legitimate.

The second thing that you need to watch out with are scammers that try to send you money orders to cash part of it and send the money back to them, real mystery shopping companies will never do that.

So if you follow those rules can you imagine having a sweet job working from home just mystery shopping. This is how it works:

You sign up with the companies as an independent contractor
You go to the job board
You pick the jobs that you want to do
each job has individual directions and what to do for each shop (some companies require you to take a test to be qualified for the shop)
You go to the location  My friend goes everywhere, amusement parks, fast food, fine dining, stores, the movies, gas stations and much more
you purchase what you need to
each shop has a fee and reimbursement which normally gets paid through pay pal direct deposit or check in the mail either weekly, biweekly or monthly!
I think this is really exciting!

 

Another great tool I was informed by my friend that she uses is a web site called jobslinger
You sign up free, and if you want you can pay to become IC Pro but you do not have to, the IC Pro is something that pops up for certain  mystery shopping companies, my friend says it is used a lot by sassie users, and  you type in your zipcode and all the open companies recruiting shoppers pop, she said it is also very good to use if you are traveling and want to pick up other jobs while out of town.

Real 100% free sign up ways to make money at home, these are what I have found.

I have been searching legitimate ways to make money online and I was really just kind of fed up. I was clicking on links and just not getting anywhere and purchasing things online and realizing I was just purchasing list. Has anyone else been there? Here is a site that I found its called Romwe it pays 10% commission from your sales, and it also sets you up with another program that has banners and click links for websites that you already have and they pay you for having them up on your website and they pay you for people that click on those links. Some of them pay fairly well, and there are sites on there for other advertisers as well newegg and many more they all have prices that will pay you for advertising for them a little extra cash with no money out sounds amazing to me. Extra cash for my kids,
